First Play: Another Brick in the Mall

Another Brick in the Mall is a mall building simulation where you start with an empty patch of land limited to commercial use. It’s up to you to put it to good use as you build a mega mall.

Design, build and manage a giant shopping center. Open shops, supermarkets, restaurants, movie theaters, bowling alleys and more. Hire and manage the best staff for the job and milk your customers for all they’re worth!

All-in-all you’re just Another Brick in the Mall

This game is very easy to pick up, with a short tutorial covering MOST of the details you need for the game. There are a few points missing from the tutorial, but you pick them up soon enough.

Graphically this game is similar to the likes of RimWorld and Prison Architect. Some of the mechanics resemble those games too, but this is certainly different. Most obviously, the character graphics and animations are nice and fresh, perhaps a little dated, but original.

Priced at €12.99, this game is fairly well put together. It’s definitely playable, and offers some attration to expand and fill the map. Some of the mechanics, such as the research system, could use some tweaks to give you more control.

Overall, this game is nothing to complain about. Considering I record my videos from a literally blind perspective, I got into the game quickly and could have carried on playing for a while more.
